With Robocoast EDIH's contribution to digital and innovation capabilities, companies have successfully developed digital maturity skills.
The challenge
Raising awareness among companies about the support available for their digital transformation was a key challenge for Robocoast EDIH. Many companies were not fully aware of the practical help they could receive or how digitalisation services could address their specific business needs.
In addition, ensuring access to the right expertise required strong coordination, as the necessary skills were not always available directly within the hub.
Robocoast connected companies with the right experts and services, either within the hub or through the wider EDIH network.
The solution
Robocoast adopted a needs-driven approach to support companies in their digital transformation journey. The project connected companies with relevant digitalisation initiatives, institutions, facilities and laboratories to help them access the right expertise and resources.
By assessing companies' digital maturity and identifying their specific needs, Robocoast was able to provide tailored services and support business development through targeted digital solutions
This approach was recognised at European level, with Robocoast EDIH receiving the EDIH Digital Maturity Award at the EDIH Summit 2026.
