The challenge

CRACoWi develops different results for different users, from a free CRA Scope
Assessment Tool and CRAcademy training and resources to the comprehensive
CRACoWi Compliance Wizard. The challenge is to reach the right stakeholders with the
right result, demonstrate its practical value and move beyond visibility towards
meaningful engagement, uptake and post-project use.

The difficulty in creating user-specific results lies in connecting each outcome with the stakeholders it was designed for, proving its real-world usefulness.

The solution

CRACoWi combines targeted communication, stakeholder engagement and capacity
building with practical tools. CRAcademy webinars and workshops build knowledge, while
the free CRA Scope Assessment provides an accessible entry point to CRA compliance.
These activities also create opportunities to engage potential users, understand their
needs and support the development and future uptake of the CRACoWi Compliance
Wizard. CRACoWi Wizard provides a step-by-step guidenance through the entire CRA
compliance process, reducing the compliance costs and time, tracks progress across all
compliance activities, providing a clear overview of the entire journey.

“The real challenge of the Cyber Resilience Act is not simply knowing what the regulation
requires, but turning those requirements into actions that companies can realistically
implement. CRACoWi bridges the gap between understanding CRA requirements and
turning them into practical compliance actions.”

...and Why it matters

Through the DEDEP pilot, CRACoWi is strengthening its dissemination and exploitation
approach by characterising key exploitable results and examining their pathways towards
post-project use. The process is helping identify areas where further decisions are
needed, including exploitation models, responsibilities, sustainability, costs and post-
project uptake.
